Where are we going?

The tour will take place along the famous and glamorous Amalfi Coast.

You will be enjoying the coast from hidden spots and lesser-known angles while taking photos at the best times and with the best light conditions. You will be guided by a local through this gorgeous italian gem while learning to capture the coast with a different and original approach.

An experience during which you will live the Amalfi Coast not as tourist but with your photography and creative vision.

We are going to visit beautiful towns such as Amalfi and Positano,

but as well some fascinating and photogenic spots where catch sunrises and sunsets.

An immersive tour where you will get the most of the Amalfi Coast.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Transfer to the Amalfi Coast and check-in to the Hotel. Some resting time and typical aperitivo while doing a brifieng about the tour and the days ahead. Evening photography session and dinner.

Day 2 - Morning session before sunrise in Atrani. Afterwards we will move to Amalfi, visit the town while observing and scouting for interesting spots. After lunch we are going to visit Ravello and have an afternoon photo session there. For the sunset we will get back to Amalfi and stay there for some evening/night session between Amalfi and Atrani.

Day 3 - Sunrise session in Praiano. Afterwards we will move to Positano where we are going to stay till evening and dine in this enchanting town. Here we are going to discover a lot of beautiful spots during the day and at sunset / blu hour.

Day 4 - Sunrise session and morning in Cetara. Afterwards we will move to Minori for a visit and have lunch there. Then we will move back to Praiano for an afternoon editing session and then out again for the sunset. Then we are going to have our last dinner togheter in a charming location, and of course do some night shooting too!

Day 5 - Check-out from the hotel and transfer to the airport.

Which topics are we going to cover?

We will cover fundamentals such as:

Photo Planning : weather conditions, quality and directionality of light and how to foresee it even before being on the location.
Composition and " scene reading ". A fundamental aspect of landscape photography.
Photo techniques , such as long exposures and the use of filters (ND/GND/Polirizer).
Advanced techniques such as double exposures (with or without bracketing).
Focus bracketing and focus stacking during editing (with Photoshop). When it's needed. Pros and Cons.
Reading and managing natural light in the scene.
Editing session with Lightroom and Photoshop . We will go through a proper workflow to edit a RAW file.

* non-photographer: discount €150

The fee includes a deposit (€750) to be paid when booking and the remaining balance due within 45 days before the start of the tour. Once the trip is confirmed, you can request cancellation and receive a full refund of the deposit (€750) up to 90 days before the start of the tour.
When the tour is confirmed, in case you are unable to participate the amount you have already paid will be refunded only if we are able to replace your booking with a new participant
(minus any expenses already incurred and not recoverable).

Who's this photo tour for?

This photo tour is for all landscape and nature photography enthusiasts, whether you are an amateur or a pro.

The physical effort required is not excessive. There will be easy walks, sometimes with steps and some elevation changes especially in the villages (there might be many stairs to get around during the day).

It is an intensive 5-day tour - we are going to have a fast pace in order to visit the villages of the coast

as better as possible and have the best photo opportunities as we get around.

We will also have some resting and relaxing time to enjoy the lifestyle of the coast and have an editing session while having a typical Italian aperitif.
